As you search your favorite online stores for the best kratom in the world, you might start recognizing Bentuangie kratom in more and more places. It’s popular among kratom connoisseurs because it offers excellent quality and consistent levels of alkaloids. Named after the Bentuangie region in Indonesia, this variety comes to us from the jungles where it grows naturally.

Keep in mind, though, that almost all of the kratom in the United States actually comes from Indonesia, which means most of it is grown in similar environments. Importing so much kratom from locations that are near each other means that the slight differences between different varieties of kratom within a single strain will be imperceptible to most people. In other words, while there might be some significant differences between white kratom and red kratom, most people won’t be able to pick up much of a difference between Red Maeng Da kratom and Red Sulawesi kratom, for example.

While the differences between where kratom grows might not make a big difference, there are certain ways kratom can be processed that will make a significantly bigger impact on the final product. This is true even among different varieties of kratom powder that come from trees of the same strain. One such unique processing practice actually does apply to Bentuangie kratom, which is why so many people have become incredibly interested in it.

The biggest thing that makes Bentuangie kratom powder unique is that it goes through a process that’s unlike the drying that happens to most leaves from the Mitragyna Speciosa tree. Instead of being dried in the sun and the open air, Bentuangie kratom is placed into a bag, trapping the moisture in with the Mitragyna Speciosa tree leaves. Due to the excess moisture, a sort of fermentation happens that alters the alkaloids within the plant.

It’s said that treating Bentuangie kratom in this way improves the alkaloid profile. Red kratom is already known for having one of the most desirable alkaloid levels, depending on what you’re looking for, but this process might make it even more appealing. Once the Mitragyna Speciosa leaves have been in their bags long enough to become true Bentuangie kratom, they’re dried and ground into powder as usual.

What Are the Bentuangie Kratom Alkaloids?

In nature, the plant does not contain detectable levels of 7-hydroxymitragynine. This only starts to show up once the plant material is dried, at which point mitragynine is converted to 7-hydroxymitragynine by light and heat. We’ve been seeing news that it’s better to let people make this conversion themselves instead of allowing it to happen before the kratom is enjoyed.
