Read the current package and batch information before use. For order or product questions, contact our team.

How Do I Compare Kratom Products?

Compare product formats, package sizes, ingredients, and batch information before choosing a product. Browse kratom powders or view available lab reports. Product names and colors do not establish a medical benefit or guarantee an individual response.

What Is Kratom?

Kratom is Mitragyna speciosa, a tree native to Southeast Asia. Products may contain dried leaf powder or concentrated extracts. Extracts and leaf powder can differ substantially in alkaloid content; compare the specific product label rather than treating them as interchangeable.

What Are the Risks of Kratom?

Some people who use kratom regularly develop dependence and experience withdrawal when stopping. Nausea, constipation, dizziness, and drowsiness have been reported. Rare but serious events, including seizures and liver injury, have also been reported in people using kratom. Some reports involve other substances, varying product composition, or incomplete information, which can make the cause difficult to determine. These limitations do not establish that kratom is risk-free or rule out its contribution to harm.

For adults 21+ only. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not combine with alcohol, opioids, or other drugs. Discuss medications and health conditions with a qualified healthcare professional before use. Do not drive or operate machinery after use. Product testing does not establish that use is risk-free.

Where Can Kratom Be Sold or Shipped?

Kratom laws and shipping restrictions vary by state and local jurisdiction and can change. We do not ship where sale or possession is prohibited. Review the applicable rules for your destination before ordering and contact us if you are unsure whether we can fulfill an order. This page does not provide legal advice or guarantee that importing kratom is permitted.

Laughing Lion Herbs sells kratom only to adults 21 and older.

What Does GMP Mean?

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) address manufacturing processes, sanitation, recordkeeping, and quality controls. GMP practices, a facility certificate, and a product-specific laboratory report are different forms of documentation. None means that the FDA has approved a kratom product or that use is risk-free.

For documentation about a specific product, manufacturer, or batch, contact us.

Can Kratom Laws Change?

Yes. Federal, state, and local rules can change, and different products or ingredients may be regulated differently. Check current official guidance for your location before purchasing, possessing, or importing a product. We cannot predict future legal changes.

What Do Kratom Color Names Mean?

Red, green, white, and gold are common product categories used by kratom sellers. Naming and processing conventions vary by supplier. A color or strain name is not a standardized measurement of alkaloid content and does not guarantee a particular effect. Refer to the product description and available batch information.

Want to explore the evidence? Our kratom research companion explains genetics, leaf color, drying and alkaloid variation through six original studies, with data and limitations. Browse all kratom products.

Are Kratom Effects Predictable?

Individual responses vary, and product names or customer experiences do not guarantee a particular result. Kratom products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Do not use kratom as a substitute for medical care or a prescribed treatment.

Important Safety Information

For adults 21+ only. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Keep out of reach of children. Follow the directions and warnings on the specific product package. Do not combine with alcohol, opioids, or other intoxicating substances. Consult a healthcare professional before use if taking medications or if you have a medical condition.

The FDA has not approved kratom as a drug and states that kratom is not appropriate for use as a dietary supplement. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Website information is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

How Do I Read Serving Information?

Our store uses a maximum of 50 mg mitragynine per serving and retains lower labeled servings. This is a serving ceiling, not a guarantee of safety or a recommendation to consume that amount. Read the measured serving size and number of servings on the specific product page and current package. A full bottle or tablet is not necessarily one serving.

For leaf powder and capsules, mitragynine content can vary by batch. Use the matching batch report; do not equate grams of powder or milligrams of extract with milligrams of mitragynine. If serving information is unclear or conflicts, do not use the product until clarified. Contact us with the product name and batch details.

For our plain leaf products: 3 grams of powder, or 4–6 capsules containing 500 mg powder each. At a batch potency of 1.5% mitragynine, these amounts contain approximately 45 mg and 30–45 mg mitragynine, respectively. Check actual batch potency and follow a lower labeled limit. These amounts do not apply to extracts, shots, or tablets. Read the serving guide.

How Much Should I Use?

Follow the specific product label and consult a qualified healthcare professional before use. This website does not provide a personalized dosing recommendation. Do not use previous opioid experience as a guide to a kratom serving or convert between products based on names alone. Do not exceed the labeled directions.

How Often Should I Use It?

Follow the directions on the specific product package. Do not repeatedly increase or repeat servings to chase a desired effect. Some people who use kratom regularly develop tolerance or dependence and experience withdrawal when stopping. Seek professional advice if you are using regularly, increasing use, or finding it difficult to stop.

What If I Experience an Adverse Reaction?

Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you experience concerning symptoms. For a suspected poisoning in the United States, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Call 911 for an emergency, including trouble breathing, a seizure, collapse, or inability to wake someone. Do not wait for nausea or vomiting as a way to determine whether an amount is safe.

Where Can I Learn About Kratom Advocacy?

The American Kratom Association is an advocacy organization. Its materials and vendor programs are separate from FDA approval and medical advice. Visit the American Kratom Association to learn about its work. Check current official sources for legal and health information.

What Do Your Powder Reports Say About 7-OH?

Our owner reports that, over 11 years reviewing powder tests, he has never seen a powder result above 0.01% 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH). This describes his historical experience, not a statistical average, a universal detection limit or a guarantee for every batch. Laboratory methods and detection or quantification limits differ; review the matching report for your lot.

Plain leaf and products deliberately enhanced with 7-OH are different product categories. This distinction does not make plain leaf risk-free. Request or find a batch report and read our 7-OH information page.
