KRATOM CAPSULE GUIDE · ADULTS 21+
How much powder is in a kratom capsule?
A capsule is a container, not a standard measure of alkaloid content. Compare the powder weight per capsule, ingredients and available batch report before comparing products. Plain-leaf capsules and concentrated extract tablets are different products.
Our 500 mg capsules: serving measurements
Laughing Lion plain-leaf capsules contain 500 mg of powder each. Our current serving guidance is 4–6 capsules, which equals 2–3 grams of powder. At our stated approximate 1.5% mitragynine content, that corresponds to approximately 30–45 mg of mitragynine. The calculation is an estimate; check the label and available report for your batch.
- 4 capsules: 2 grams of powder, approximately 30 mg mitragynine at 1.5%.
- 5 capsules: 2.5 grams of powder, approximately 37.5 mg mitragynine at 1.5%.
- 6 capsules: 3 grams of powder, approximately 45 mg mitragynine at 1.5%.
These figures apply to our 500 mg plain-leaf capsules. They do not establish a universally safe dose, a schedule for repeated servings or guidance for another brand's capsules. Do not increase amounts to chase an effect.
What do strain and blend names mean?
Familiar names help returning customers find their listings. A name alone does not establish alkaloid content or guarantee an experience. Our named blends were originally distinct formulations.
*Current Laughing Lion plain-leaf powder and capsule products use the same powder within a given batch, regardless of strain, color or historical blend name. Current historical blends are not mixtures of different powders. Batches can change over time.
Compare labels and batch information
Check the ingredients, capsule weight and product's batch number. A laboratory report describes a tested sample; it does not guarantee safety for every individual. Our team can help with product information and available reports, while individual medical questions belong with a healthcare professional.
